Find A Religion That Matches Your Beliefs

February 7, 2021 cPiulb@ Leave a Comment

There are a number of religious organization around your town, go online and search for some.

Don’t limit yourself just to the ones you grew-up around or your relatives and friend are associated with. Find five or six different ones and visited them each three or four times.

The main thing is to see if you agree with what they are teaching, and the book from which they are teaching. By all means please use your common sense, when determining your new faith. If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

Just because it is a religious organization doesn’t expect everyone to be kind to you. Remember people are people wherever you go, some are kind and some are not. Don’t expect too much from them and don’t tell them your whole life history the first time you meet them.

Listen to what other members have to say, but don’t take everything they say as truth. Be wise and check out the people and the place, there is a lot you need to know about the situation before you can settle in comfortably, and not leaving shortly after joining. That is why it is important to find a religion that matches your beliefs.

You probably already have some idea of what you are looking for, you just need to get down to the specific. Don’t sign-up to do something in this place of worship if you are not comfortable with it, some people sign-up to do stuff they are not comfortable doing, just because someone asks them to do it.

Whatever religious places you visit, don’t let people tell you it is not the right religion for you. After visiting that place three or four times, you will get some idea of whether you could be comfortable in that place of worship or do you need more time.

Don’t rush into a religion and don’t let anyone pressure you into joining a religious organization. If you already have a faith belief that you feel very strongly about, only visit religious organizations with the same faith belief that you have. It will be easier to fit in. Take your time and find a religion that matches your beliefs.

I have seen people join a religious organization on the first visit, they usually come back three or four months, then they disappear for good. You can’t be sure if that is the place for you in two or three months, although your relatives and friends may say it is the right place for you.

A place of worship can be in your home or someone else’s home. You can start a place of worship, with a few relatives and/or friends. You probably will be more comfortable around people you already know. Whatever you decide to do, don’t rush take your time.
