People from all walks of life have asked that question many times, will God forgive my sins if I ask him?
The answer is yes, he will forgive your sins, but under certain conditions. First, you have to ask Jesus to forgive the sins you committed.
Tell Jesus the name of the sins you committed, that you want to be forgiven for. For instance, if you had sex with someone and the two of you are not married to each other, your sin is fornication. Now ask Jesus to forgive your fornication sins.
First of all, Jesus is no fool, and he will not just take your word for it. He first searches your heart to see if you are really sincere with your request, if he determines you are sincere that sin will be forgiven. If you are not serious Jesus will not forgive that sin, and you will be walking around here, on your way to hell thinking your sins are forgiven when they are not.
I do not know if the latter part of the above statement is written in the bible or not. I have noticed when religious people talk about Jesus forgiven our sins, they do not include the latter part either. So, why am I adding it in, simply because Jesus told me to include it?
Now if you think I just added that in when I should not have added it in, here is how to prove if I am lying or not. Get down on your knees and ask your God this question “Do I have to be serious when I ask you to forgive my sins”. And after that, you follow his instructions.
Jesus did not give me this job, just because I have committed almost every sin there is, he used my sins to place me just feet away from hell’s door. That place is no place for anyone to be, I promise you I will never go there again, and I hope no one else will ever go there.
You may wonder why would God give us a fleshy weak body that is against everything Godly? I once thought it was probably to show us humans that we needed him because we cannot survive without him, and when we messed-up we would call on him.
Jesus knows we all have sinned, and we will continue to sin without his help. It is odd that a loving God would create a bunch of people which all have turned out to be sinners, since God knows everything, he probably already knew we all would fall short of obeying his commandments.
Here is a bit of disturbing news, Jesus died for everyone’s sins, but only the people who truly believe in him, will have their sins forgiven. The non-believers will continue on living with sinful hearts and minds that are incapable of believing in Jesus, sadly, they will end up in hell.
In some cases, this could be considered as God hardening the hearts of the non-believers so they cannot believe even if they wanted to. Were the true believers destined to be true believers before they were created or did God soften their hearts and minds after they were born, or sometime later on in their life?
I hope everyone starts to think about eternity while they are young, but I did not I waited until I was old, but now I truly believe in Jesus. I now know my sins are forgiven and I am at peace with Jesus and myself. I have the fear of God in me, and I am afraid to sin again.
